Radical Health: What if your body knows the way?

For about 25 years, I’ve been part of a solidarity-based community health system called Artabana, instead of having traditional health insurance.

It was always clear to me that the mainstream insurance model didn’t work for me.
Most of the treatments I needed weren’t covered, and most of what was covered simply didn’t interest me.

That might trigger something in you—especially if you get sick often or rely on medical support regularly.

And that’s okay. There’s no right or wrong here.
There are amazing doctors and therapists out there.
And if everything works well for you, that’s great.

We’re told it’s a great achievement to have free access to healthcare.
But let’s take a moment to reflect:
Is it really “free” anymore?
And more importantly—is that the only truth?
Are societies with mandatory health insurance actually healthier?

One of the most radical and rebellious things you can do in today’s world is to reclaim full sovereignty over your body.
To know you can heal yourself.
To allow no one—no one—to have more authority over your body than you.
That doesn’t mean you’ll never see a doctor or work with a therapist.
It just means you know who’s in charge.

So let me ask you:
What does health mean to you?
And healing?
What would be possible if you were deeply connected to your body?

True healing is self-healing.
Because if you really want to heal, you must be an active part of your own healing story. Even if you receive outside support.

Healing means: giving up the version of you that you created in order to survive.

Your body is a magical, intelligent being.
It’s your best friend.
It tells you not only when you’re too hot or cold, or when you need food—
It gives you hundreds of signals each day.
Signals we’ve been conditioned to ignore.

Your body tells you when something is off in your relationship.
When food isn’t good for you.
When toxins are present in your environment.
When you’re lacking nutrients.
When your workplace is draining you.
When you’re under-challenged.
When someone is behind you in the room.
When your body needs movement.
When you’re in a place where conflict or violence lingers.
When a decision is right—or not right—for you.
When you’ve said yes but really meant no.
And so much more.

Learning to trust your body and its signals changes everything.

Self-healing requires deep vulnerability with yourself.
Being willing to face what’s no longer working in your life.
What needs to change.
Even if, right now, you think you can’t change it.

Because true healing only happens when all areas of your life are in flow.

For most of my life, it’s been clear to me:
Whenever symptoms show up, I need to communicate with my body.
Just taking a pill never made sense to me.
Even long before I had conscious tools, I would ask myself:
“What is my body trying to tell me?”

Did I always listen?
Nope. Not always.

But here’s what I’ve learned:
If you keep doing things every day that you hate,
if you live with financial stress over a long period of time.
if you stay in a loveless relationship.
if you ignore the call of your soul, even when it’s getting louder and louder.
if you carry anger, blame, resentment, guilt.
if you can’t let go of the past, or live in fear of the future…

you will eventually get sick.

Your path, your purpose, your true self—it all comes through your body.
After thousands of years of seeing the body as something lesser—
as something to overcome or control—
it’s time to recognize it for what it truly is.
Not just dragging it along for the ride,
but seeing it as the key.

You want to finally live your purpose?
Create a loving, meaningful relationship?
Experience deeper connection in all your relationships?
Start your business—or take it to the next level?
Wake up excited to go to work each day?
Claim your rightful place in this wild time of global transition?
Become an active part of change?

Then follow your body.
It’s already showing you the way.
